Is the Formuler Z11 Pro Max actually worth it over a $50 Firestick?

Getting tired of Amazon's bloated UI and ads everywhere. I just want to turn on my TV and watch my playlist. Everyone hypes up the Formuler boxes and the MYTVOnline3 app. Is it really worth dropping $150+ when a 4K Max stick handles TiviMate just fine?

Nvidia Shield TV Pro in 2026: Still the King or Time to Move On?

Is anyone else starting to feel the age of the Shield TV Pro (2019)? Don't get me wrong, the AI upscaling is still unmatched, and it eats high-bitrate Plex remuxes for breakfast. But we're 7 years out from the hardware launch and it's starting to show. HDR10+ support is still missing, and the UI can get sluggish randomly. Are there any actual android TV boxes on the horizon that can finally dethrone it?

Onn 4K Pro vs. Chromecast with Google TV 4K

I'm looking to grab a cheap streaming stick for the bedroom TV. I already use a Shield in the living room. Everyone keeps raving about the $50 Onn 4K Pro box at Walmart. Is it really better than the official Google Chromecast?

Is Roku OS falling behind the competition?

I've been a Roku user for 10 years, currently using a Roku Ultra. The UI hasn't really changed since 2013, which I used to love because it was simple. But now, it just feels dated. Plus, the lack of sideloading capacity (unlike Android TV) makes it useless for things like SmartTubeNext or custom IPTV apps. Are people finally abandoning Roku?

Which device has the best overall remote control?

Forget the OS or specs for a minute. Which streaming device actually has the best remote? I feel like the Siri Remote is too slippery/touchy, the Shield remote is like a weird Toblerone, and Roku's clicking is too loud. Is there a perfect remote out there?
