Debloat Tool vs Background Apps and Process List app?

I'm trying to speed up my 2nd Gen 4K stick because navigating the TiviMate guide has gotten really laggy. I see people recommending ADB Debloat tools to remove Amazon bloatware, but others just say to use the 'Background Apps & Process List' to force close things. Which one actually works better for speeding up the UI?
