I know Tivimate is the undisputed king here. But I've been watching IMPlayer updates closely and the developer seems incredibly active. Cloud sync for settings, mobile companion app, and multi-view are all there now. For those who own both, is there any reason to switch back to IMPlayer in 2026?

I run two different IPTV subscriptions for redundancy. The problem is my guide is incredibly cluttered because I have duplicates of every major sports and news channel. Is there a player (or external tool) that can merge them into one guide listing, and just auto-fallback to provider #2 if provider #1 buffers?

I just bought my first IPTV sub. The provider gave me an Xtream Codes login (URL, username, password). I've tried putting it into Smarters, Xciptv, and Tivimate, and they ALL immediately say 'Failed to load playlist' or 'Invalid Details'. Is the provider scamming me?

I refuse to buy Tivimate since it doesn't have an iOS/tvOS app, and I don't want to pay a subscription for an app just to play an m3u file (looking at you, iProTV and UHF). Is there any truly free, open-source player for Apple TV that actually has a decent EPG grid?

Has anyone tried the new 5.0 Beta APK floating around the Telegram group? The changelog says 'Improved hardware decoding for Picture-in-Picture on Android TV 11+', which sounds like Alex finally cracked the PiP issue on the Nvidia Shield. I'm at work and can't test it yet. Does it actually work without crashing the player?
