Help! Every player I try says 'Failed to load playlist'

I just bought my first IPTV sub. The provider gave me an Xtream Codes login (URL, username, password). I've tried putting it into Smarters, Xciptv, and Tivimate, and they ALL immediately say 'Failed to load playlist' or 'Invalid Details'. Is the provider scamming me?
