How to Fix 'No Signal' Error on IPTV
Understanding the 'No Signal' Error
A 'No Signal' error in an IPTV player means the app connected to the server but received no video data. This is different from a connection failure — the channel is there, but nothing is streaming.
Most Common Causes
- The channel is temporarily offline or being rebooted on the provider's server
- Your subscription has expired
- The stream URL has changed and your M3U playlist is outdated
- Your IP address has been rate-limited by the server
Fix 1: Try Another Channel
Switch to a different channel. If other channels work fine, the specific channel is temporarily down. Try again in 10–30 minutes.
Fix 2: Refresh Your Playlist
In TiviMate: Long-press the playlist → Update playlist. In IPTV Smarters: Go to Add User → re-enter your credentials to force a reload. Provider M3U links sometimes change.
Fix 3: Check Your Subscription
Log into your provider's panel or contact support to confirm your subscription is active. Even if you recently paid, payment processing delays sometimes cause a brief service interruption.
Fix 4: Reconnect to the Internet
Restart your router and streaming device. A stale network connection sometimes causes this error even when other apps work fine.
Fix 5: Get a New M3U Link
Contact your provider and ask for a fresh M3U URL. Provider servers sometimes rotate stream URLs as an anti-abuse measure. A fresh link will have updated stream addresses.
