IPTV Channels Missing? How to Reload Your Playlist
Why Channels Disappear
IPTV channels can disappear for several reasons: provider server maintenance, M3U playlist updates, channel removal from the service, or a corrupted local playlist cache in your player app.
Fix 1: Force-Reload the Playlist
In TiviMate: Long-press your playlist → Update playlist. Wait for it to complete and then check for your missing channels. This downloads a fresh copy of the M3U file from your provider's server.
Fix 2: Clear the Player Cache
Go to your device's app settings → IPTV player → Clear Cache. Then reopen the app and reload the playlist. A corrupted cache sometimes prevents new channels from appearing.
Fix 3: Re-Add the Playlist
Remove your current playlist from the player entirely and re-add it from scratch using the same M3U URL or Xtream Codes credentials. This resets all channel data.
Fix 4: Check Channel Categories
Some players hide channels in unexpected categories. In TiviMate, check All Channels (not just favourites or a filtered group) to see if the channel is there but uncategorised.
Fix 5: Contact Your Provider
If specific channels are consistently missing after reloading, they may have been removed from the service due to licensing changes. Contact your provider and ask specifically which channels are included in your package.
